Becoming Fantasy Fiction Author South Carolina

By Helen Nelson

People dream on being writers but do not know what price one needs to pay for that. You will go through a lot of rejection from companies that think your work is not worth. That is why a lot of people consider having ghost writers to do the work for them. Becoming a fantasy fiction author South Carolina can be an easy thing if you are ready and willing.

If you want to be creative read about almost anything and everything around you. That is what that helps one to reconstruct things in your head. If you can reconstruct and imagine that scene so can your audience. Maybe that was the skill JK Rowling used in writing Harry Potter. Make your audience see the scene in their minds since that is what that makes your work fan to read.

When writing take the two roles. Be the writer and the reader. In case you do not like what you are reading your target audience too might not like it. There should be a mentor whom you can use their work to help you put your collection together. In the process of checking the style your mentor uses make sure you are not copying their work.

There is a lot of work that goes into writing including planning. Without a plan your story will be confusing and boring to read. Know the angle you will take and the characters you want. Know the conflict you will bring in the story and how to solve it. Also know how to introduce the characters and grow each of their roles.

You cannot create everything and just put it together in one book. Be ready to create a couple of more. You want your writers to stay glued onto the next imagination and the best way to do that is feed them with more. Some people may prefer using current tense but if possible avoid using it as it makes the readers feel detached to your work.

When you have a sweet character you do not have to work too hard to make your readers fall in love with their role. If there is rivalry it should be toned down and your character should mend their differences fast. It is easy to love a good character and stick by their side no matter what. A bad character will make you work too hard to make your readers love them.

In most cases the feedback you get from a potential publisher is never promising therefore you can decide to publish yourself online and see the feedback you get. If your readers are positive go ahead with the rest of the chapters. Ask your readers what they would want to see you introduce and the characters you should kill or develop further.

The thing with writing is to never give up and to keep shining till your work is picked. People like JK Rowling and Stephen King must have failed several times in their lives before they finally got it right. Keep moving even when every publishing house has rejected your work. Someday they will read your books nonstop.
