Not Dying Thanks To Seat Belt Monitor Systems

By Lisa Moore

The thing about human bodies is that they break. At no point in its existence have human ever been particularly durable. Their bones like to do this thing where they shatter. Sometimes, this does not even have to be some kind of major catastrophe. A person can just trip on a wire and break their leg so completely that they never walk properly ever again. Life is funny like that, in its random ways. But there are things to make it less random, to insure safety, thins like seat belt monitor systems.

The thing about the world is that it is not conducive to human habitation. Sure, people lived on the outside for the majority of their existence, but that does not mean that living on the outside, exposed, was ideal.

First it must be discusses as to what a seatbelt is. In essence, it is a narrow strip of nylon that is supposed to save a life. They supposedly achieve this by securing a rider to their seat.

It has to be stated that seatbelts are generally safe. Not in the sense that they will not cause bodily harm, but in the sense that they prevent bodily harm. See, people like to ride in things like cars and trucks. When these cars and trucks come to a halt, then the momentum they built up during their movement tends to slam forward, which can drive a rider forward. This is not always safe, so a seatbelt must be worn in order to be secureNow, if seatbelts are not worn, there may be legal ramifications. First of all, it is illegal to ride in a car without wearing a seatbelt in a lot of places. Now, the ramifications may not generally be greater than fines, but when the cops are involved, no chances should be taken.

But the more dire consequences are those regarding safety. Human bodies break all the time. When seatbelts are not worn, they can break in ways that are impossible to recover from. Because in all of its innovation, humanity has yet to discover a way to master death itself. So maybe wearing a seatbelt may prevent a date with deceased loved ones.

Now, a seatbelt monitoring system is a system that is put in place to make sure that the seatbelts are being used. If not, they can issue a warning. That warning will usually come in the form of an annoying noise that will not stop until it is sated.

It works with pressure. If sensors built into the seat can sense the pressure of a human rectum against it, that will let the system know that it is being sat on. Once the system understands that a person is sitting down in a particular seat, it will then start making the noise until the seatbelt is engaged. In some cases, this may be limited to the driver seat.

Now, on newer car models, they may come standard. If they do not, then they can be installed at a dealership. Of course, there is always the option of going to a third party garage and then getting whatever customization desired installed.

Life is about choices. Of course, some choices are easier to make than others. The choice to live or to die, which can be made by something as easy as whether or not to jam a slender piece of metal into a hole until there is a click, thus securing the nylon the metal is attached to across the torso.
